IUMA - Internet Underground Music Archive Rescued!
Good news to fans of the famous old IUMA Internet Underground Music Archive!
Archive.org managed to scrape most of the site before it was closed in 2006, and they have just opened access to the music they rescued. You can find the introduction at: http://archive.org/details/iuma-archive, and you can find a description of the rescue announcement at: http://ascii.textfiles.com/archives/3613, and if you want to dig right into the huge treasure trove and start listening and downloading you can go directly to: http://archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3Aiuma-archive&sort=-publicdate.
Special thanks to the good people at Archive.org for rescuing so much of IUMA.
Harvest Number 90, for Summer 2012, should be on the air any day now!
